Celebrating life’s great journey with heartfelt funeral ceremonies
Here to help
Realising there is nothing I can say at this moment to ease your grief, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Organising a funeral or memorial is a big ask when your heart is heavy and your head is full. I know this from personal experience.
This is where a I can help. As a funeral celebrant, my role is to guide and support you and your loved ones in crafting a ceremony where you are able to say ‘goodbye’ in a way that truly honours a unique life's story.
Want to have a good laugh together? That’s perfectly fine by me. As hard as it is saying goodbye, I want to help you celebrate the joy your loved one brought to your world.
Celebrate your loved one in a way that reflects their life. Laugh, cry, dance, sing; it's totally up to you. It all starts with a phone call.

A funeral ceremony is a deeply personal experience for all. Free from legal formalities, you have the space to celebrate your loved one and the life they lived with dignity and love. The following is a guide to how a ‘typical’ funeral might be structured. Designing the appropriate send off should be a reflection of the person being celebrated – you have the freedom to say goodbye however you feel comfortable.
1. Opening music
2. Welcome and introduction by your celebrant
3. Opening ritual - some people like to light candles, include pets,
4. Readings - whether these be religous or extracts from books, poems, movies
5. Words of comfort from your celebrant
6. Eulogy - this can be read by a family member or friend but I am always here if the job is too much.
6. Tributes from family and friends
7. Symbolic acts and rituals - planting trees, releasing butterflies, live music performance
8. Video/photo reflection with music
9. Final farewell
10. Closing music -
At a funeral service, the deceased's body is present usually in a coffin and the service is held at a crematorium or cemtery. A memorial service is just that – a ceremony to memorialise a person's life. These are held is many diverse locations and can involve the spreading of ashes.

The answer is no but yes. No, I don't personally perform religious or spiritual ceremonies. But yes, I am happy to cater to your wishes should you want to include religious readings and other spiritual elements into the ceremony.

I am more than happy to help you find readings should you need some guidance. I normally find that during our first meeting I can help steer people to some appropriate options. All of this being said, you and your family and friends know your loved one the best. I want your ceremony to capture the essence of who the deceased was at their best.
